Led by and founded by Naomi Reid, originally from Shropshire, spent 17 years in London and is now based in Carmarthenshire where she lives with her partner and young son. She has over 24 years’ experience in the not for profit sector and music industry, specialising in events management, events promotion and production, communications, projects and office management and artist management. Naomi was with African women’s NGO FORWARD (working to end violence against African girls/women) working in various capacities from Trustee to Communications and Events Manager, here she used her passion for the arts to set up Musicians Unite to End Female Genital Mutilation (MUTEFGM) and Artists Unite to End FGM projects which included touring Ivorian Dobet Gnahore and US Blues artist Corey Harris, and organising events at music venues (eg. Roundhouse, Rich Mix) to Parliament, community centres etc. booking acts such as: Maryam Mursal, Sona Jobareth, Ruby & the Vines, Amira Kheir, Sharna Cane, Poetic Pilgrimage, Hanisha Solomon, Mulele Matondo Afrika, Lopango ya Banka’s Nka1, Carlou D, Atongo Zimba, Seye, Weird MC, Sura Susso, Bumi Thomas amongst many others.  Naomi has mostly worked with the African diaspora in the UK/Europe and on projects in Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Ghana and Nigeria and predominantly has worked with African artists. 
 
Chanya Culture Ltd:

Supporting & promoting positive, quality arts to spread social messages of justice, positive culture and truth. Chanya Culture aims to raise awareness and inspire action on injustice through the use of the arts. We produce events, tours, and offer various artist development/management support. 
Artists we have managed: Mulele Matondo Afrika,  Lopango ya Banka ,  Rasha (we now act as her PR Management).


We share the most talented musicians, songwriters, singers and other artists who represent and celebrate the strength and beauty within different cultures and who move and inspire their audiences  to take action on important social issues, as well as artists with strong social justice views we also work with many artists that are just damn good and that we love and believe need to be heard/seen!

What we offer: Tour production, Tour Management, Help with Certificates of Sponsorship and Visa applications, Artist development (social media development/management, help with developing websites, funding applications (Arts Council, Arts Council Wales)), Marketing plan development, Press Release development, festival applications and more.
